It deserves the title of Russian restaurant La Cantine Russe in the building of the Paris Conservatory. It opened in 1923, and its founder is the great singer Feodor Ivanovich Chaliapin. For many years he performed in the Parisian concert halls and was very homesick. It is unlikely that somewhere else Russian restaurants in Paris will be served with stuffed cabbage, cutlets in Kiev and in fire, or befstroganov. And, these dishes are really very close to the authentic recipes of Russian cuisine.
